Ryan reminded us that "the save" is still around, but only until it gets to Top 5. We were, once again, forced to sit through the "group sing". This week was George Michael's "Wake Me Up". Crystal looked like she was going to barf.

Another Ford video, then Ryan got down to the business of results.

Siobhan is safe.

Lee and Casey were asked to stand, then Tim and Paige. After hashing over everyone's performances and criticisms from the judges, Paige was declared one of the Bottom 3, then Tim was quickly added to that.

Next week's mentor is Usher and the them will be R&B. Miley Cyrus performed (I fast-forwarded) and Ryan announced that the top row was all safe and going on tour. Evidently he announced during the break that Lee and Casey were safe.

Aaron is safe.

Didi is safe.

Michael is safe.

Crystal is safe.

Katy and Andrew are asked to stand and strangely enough Katy is sent to the Bottom 3 and Andrew is safe.

Katy is declared safe and Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas perform a duet (again, fast-forwarded).

Tim and Paige join Ryan center stage and Tim is declared safe. Simon tells Paige that even if she sings she's going home, so she doesn't even get a chance to sing for her life. Ryan lets her sing "Honky Tonk Woman" as the show ends.

And we're left wondering: when will we hear the "aha" performance? Who will it be? Will there be one this season? Or did we already see it when Andrew sang Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" during Hollywood week? And was that Andrew's best?

I hope we get the answers to those questions.
